Don't forget to flip the switch on the back of your Poly to 'enable' for both the tape section and the program write section or you'll never get anywhere. If you have absolutely no luck finding anything, I might be able to send that file to you, but bear in mind that some patches will be different.
I've got a tape of the sounds from my Poly, but they're not all original- some were edited before the tape was made.
You'll need a.wav file of the original sounds- try Googling 'Poly 800 sounds' or something similar. Probably the only way to reset your Poly 800 is to reload the sounds via the tape in jack. File of the data with the factory presets for a Poly-800? I only have a cassette and it's so degraded that I'm only getting. The other option is to purchase some patches.
